Harry Styles(born February 1 1994, age 17) is one fifth of the British-Irish boyband One Direction. He is from Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England, and was a pupil at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School. Styles was the lead singer for the band White Eskimo, previous to appearing on the X Factor. Styles auditioned with the song "Isn't She Lovely" by Stevie Wonder. Two out of three of the judges gave positive comments, with Louis Walsh doubting whether he was strong enough to progress in the competition. At bootcamp, he sang "Stop Crying Your Heart Out" before being rejected, and being given a lifeline to join One Direction.
