Gangs of Wasseypur is an upcoming Hindi crime film directed and produced by Anurag Kashyap. The film features an ensemble cast including Manoj Bajpai and Reemma Sen in the lead roles.

Production
Development
The film has been reported to be inspired from the story of Bihar politician Surajbhan Singh, who was convicted for murder in 2008.
Filming
The film finished production in late March 2011, with Anurag Kashyap moving on to direct his next film immediately.
Plot
The film is about the coal mafia in Dhanbad (Jharkhand)and has turned out to be a two-part marathon, each two hours and 40 minutes in length.
"You won't feel the weight of the duration. The narration is that slick. Working in this film I felt I had gone back to acting school. It's a new beginning for me," says Manoj excitedly.
