Shupanga is a town located on the Zambezi, in Zambia. It is notable for its patch of the river has strata of grey and yellow sandstone, along with limestone.
The village of Shupanga was founded before the arrival of Europeans. It was visited by the Zambezi Expedition of David Livingstone.
