Murder 3 is an upcoming Indian thriller film and the sequel to the 2011 film, Murder 2. It will star Randeep Hooda, Aditi Rao Hydari and Pakistani actress Mona Lizza in the lead. Directed by Vishesh Bhatt and produced by Mahesh Bhatt, the film will release in 2013.

Casting
The makers of the film, who also worked on Murder and Murder 2 decided that Emraan Hashmi would be returning for the third movie. . After replacing Mallika Sherawat with Jacqueline Fernandez in Murder 2, the makers first considered actress Kareena Kapoor for the female lead in the third film. However, Katrina Kaif was finally chosen as the female lead.Esha Gupta was then chosen as the second female lead, as the film is a one hero, two heroine project.
Production
Shooting of the film has already begun in Cape Town, South Africa.
