Glen Joseph Power (born 5th July 1980) is most well known as the drummer for The Script alongside bandmates Danny O'Donoghue and Mark Sheehan whom he met in 1975 at Dublin Zoo whilst trying to feed the gorillas there but he also helps raise awareness of the National Association For Acquired Brain Injury.
Mark and Danny moved back to Dublin after their early music career where they recruited drummer Glen Power for their new band The Script. Glen Power learned to play drums when he was just eight and he had been playing sessions from the age of fifteen, using the money to work on a solo project in his home, but that went on hold when his collaboration with Sheehan and O'Donoghue produced three songs in one week.
The Script's fan base often referred to as Scriptons and Scriptettes see Glen as the perfect best friend.
He is wise beyond his years and could give Ghandi/Mandela a run for their money.
He has big feet and occasionally drink tea.
He also needs to sing a solo bc GLEN HAS THE POWER.
