Ann Furedi is the chief executive of BPAS, the UK's largest independent abortion provider, and the wife of its founder and leader, Frank Furedi.

In addition to running BPAS, she is a leading pro-abortion advocate and spokesperson, often appearing in the media representing this perspective. She was a former member of the HFEA, the UK's fertility and reproductive technology watchdog.

She is a member of the Revolutionary Communist Party of Great Britain and a contributor to Living Marxism magazine.
