A fact from GeoGuessr appeared on Misplaced Pages's Main Page in the Did you know column on 21 June 2013 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:

importance
except for some articles talking about this by its launch, I dont see anything special that justify a wiki page. Uziel302 (talk) 06:12, 22 August 2013 (UTC)
- I missed your comment earlier. These are not just "some articles". If you do a Google News search, you'll see that this was covered in multiple countries by major news organizations. Coverage continued for several months. IronGargoyle (talk) 00:35, 4 October 2013 (UTC)
GeoSettr -- create custom challanges
A later feature of GeoGuessr was the ability to share challenges, allowing someone else to try the same set of 5 points that you tried. A third-party site worked out the format of the challenge URLs, and created http://www.geosettr.com/ which lets you specify 5 points and turn them into a challenge URL. I thought this worth mentioning on the talk page, at a minimum, and maybe even in the article. 63.251.123.2 (talk) 00:19, 22 November 2013 (UTC)
