Information icon Hello, I'm NeilN. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Pi Kappa Alpha without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Misplaced Pages with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry: I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, you can use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! I've reverted you as uncalled for is an opinion and the source you used was describing a lawsuit, not stating facts. --NeilN 20:49, 20 June 2013 (UTC)

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Misplaced Pages. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at John M. Phillips. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Misplaced Pages this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Misplaced Pages is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. — MusikAnimal 01:29, 10 October 2013 (UTC)

Edit warring on John M. Phillips

Please let me know what's going on with this article. It looks like to me an IP hopper is continually removing your contributions, which I think, are well sourced and constructive. Let him remove it, edit warring is not the way to go, you can get blocked for that. Start a discussion on the talk page as to why you think the content should be retained, and we'll go from there. If the IP does not respond we will restore the content and deal with him, perhaps semi-protect the page to prevent further disruption from IPs. Let me know if you need help, thanks. — MusikAnimal 01:39, 10 October 2013 (UTC)
