Faton Toski (born 17 February 1987) is a German footballer of Kosovar-Albanian origin who plays for FSV Frankfurt.

Career

Toski was born in Gjilan and his family moved to Germany when he was still young. began his career for TuS Makkabi Frankfurt and signed after one year an youth contract for Eintracht Frankfurt. He debuted in the Bundesliga for the Eagles in a match against Werder Bremen on 12 May 2007. On 11 June 2010, he left Frankfurt after sixteen years and signed for VfL Bochum.

On 21 January 2014 he signed for FSV Frankfurt a contract until the end of season 2013-14, with option of renewing. He joined in the team two other Albanian ethnic players, Edmond Kapllani and Odise Roshi.

International career

Toski is former member of the Germany national under-19 football team and earned five caps, who scored one goal. He declared in 2010 to the Albanian media that he would play for Kosovo, but if international recognition of Kosovo's national team would be problematic, he would accept playing for Albania.
