Revision as of 15:51, 25 February 2002 by Edgar~enwiki (talk | contribs) (*3 Madrid Clubs, not 2)(diff) ← Previous revision | Latest revision (diff) | Newer revision → (diff)One of Madrid's three Spanish Clubs which often play at First Division. The other two are Atlético de Madrid and Rayo Vallecano. Due to the league itself (some clubs descent to the Second Division) Atlético de Madrid is now playing at the Second one. However, Real Madrid has never gone into the Silver or Second Division.
Real Madrid has consistently ranked as one of the top football clubs in Europe. Its chief rival in the Spanish League is Barcelona.
