Ace Mahbaz (Template:Lang-fa, born 25. June 1986 in Tehran) is an actor, writer, and the director.

Personal Life

At the age of ten he moved with his parents to Cologne, Germany. After attending College, he went to Italy, France, England, currently lives in London and Berlin and became well-known in Sign Language Community, knows 5 languages fluently.

Career

He started to perform on stage as a teenager and there his interest grew. In 2007, he created a two-man-show with his friend and performed in 12 countries around Europe. Following this, he has performed at many festivals including Ferstival Clin d'Oeil throughout Europe as an Actor, Performer, Storyteller, Presenter and one-man show in DGS, BSL, LIS and LSF. While living in Italy, he founded DAVANTI theatre and created plays performing in Germany, Switzerland, France and Italy. They aim to offer Deaf and hearing people opportunities to experience sign language through plays, film and other visual media. Besides theatre, Ace also works as a Presenter in sign language of a programme called KRO. He has also featured as an actor in various short films.
