Since we're posting "informational" messages on my talk page, I think you may benefit from one.
"Paid advocacy – that is, being paid to promote something or someone on Misplaced Pages – is a subset of paid editing. Sue Gardner, executive director of the Wikimedia Foundation, wrote in October 2013 that the Foundation regards paid advocacy as a "black hat" practice that "violates the core principles that have made Misplaced Pages so valuable for so many people."" 209.6.166.24 (talk) 22:05, 25 November 2014 (UTC)
