Rollback

(add requestview requests)
Please familiarize yourself with Help:Reverting and Misplaced Pages:Rollback before making a request.Misuse of the feature, even if unintentional or in good faith, may give cause for it to be removed.
To make a request, please follow the instructions below:

NOTE: It is unlikely that users with fewer than 200 mainspace edits will be granted the use of this tool. Please consider enrolling at the Misplaced Pages:Counter-Vandalism Unit/Academy to learn more about handling vandalism.

  1. Fill in the form below, replacing "Reason for requesting rollback rights" with a brief reason for requesting the right. Do not make any other changes. Do not sign the request – your signature will be added automatically.
    1. If you do not see the form, go back to the page, and click "add request".
  2. Please wait for your request to be approved or denied, checking back periodically so you can respond to any queries.
  3. If you would like to withdraw your request, use the {{withdrawn}} template with ::{{withdrawn}} ~~~~
Requests that do not meet the above criteria will be delayed or removed.

Sorry, please be aware that unregistered users cannot be granted permissions due to technical restrictions. Please create an account in order to request user account permissions.

Administrator notation templates
This template should always be substituted (i.e., use {{subst:Misplaced Pages:Requests for permissions/Rollback}}).

This template is used to answer requests for permissions, especially the rollback user right.

::{{subst:RFPR|option}} ~~~~

The second (unnamed) parameter is optional. It can be omitted or used to specify the admin when marking a request as already done or the number of edits when declining due to inexperience.
Result Code Normalized code
 Done ::{{subst:RFPR|d}} ~~~~ ::{{subst:RFPR|done}} ~~~~
 Already done by {{admin|X}} ::{{subst:RFPR|ad|X}} ~~~~ ::{{subst:RFPR|alreadydone|X}} ~~~~

 Not done ::{{subst:RFPR|nd}} ~~~~ ::{{subst:RFPR|notdone}} ~~~~
 Not done. Please see the notice at the top of this page. With only {{{X}}} edits to the mainspace, I don't think you have sufficient editing experience yet. Take a moment to check out what counter-vandalism is at WP:CVU, and if you decide you'd like to get involved, you can enroll at the Counter Vandalism Academy to learn more. ::{{subst:RFPR|exp|X}} ~~~~ ::{{subst:RFPR|moreedits|X}} ~~~~
 Not done. Please see the notice at the top of this page. I see you just also applied for Pending Changes Reviewer. Let's see how you get on with that first and then we'll take another look again when you've made a few more edits. ::{{subst:RFPR|rvw}} ~~~~ ::{{subst:RFPR|alsorequestedreviewer}} ~~~~
 Not done. Please see the notice at the top of this page. This is not what Rollback is for. Take a moment to read Misplaced Pages:Rollback and if that's what you would like to do, you can then check out the Counter Vandalism Unit to learn more. ::{{subst:RFPR|nrb}} ~~~~ ::{{subst:RFPR|notrollback}} ~~~~

Recently I have focused more on undoing vandalism edits on articles especially biographical articles. Having the rollback right will make reverting vandal edits easy and stress free for me. OluwaCurtis »» (talk to me) 18:30, 23 August 2015 (UTC)

 Not done, as it's been less than a week since your previous request was declined. What's the hurry? As a longtime rollbacker I can assure you that pressing the "rollback" button is no more or less stressful than pressing the "undo" button. :) – Juliancolton |  02:11, 25 August 2015 (UTC)
thanks anyway!OluwaCurtis »» (talk to me) 05:37, 25 August 2015 (UTC)
@OluwaCurtis:, what's the hurry? Editors need not be reminded that having user rights on Misplaced Pages doesn't give them any authority over other editors. Many thanks to Juliancolton for declining the request. Wikigy 08:27, 26 August 2015 (UTC)

I am requesting Rollback rights so as to make editing easier. As a pending changes reviewer, I feel this right will only strengthen my ability to edit within the Misplaced Pages community. It's much easier to rollback to a clean version than it is to revert all pending changes, which may include a clean version. Snickers2686 (talk) 14:00, 24 August 2015 (UTC)

Im requesting for rollback rights because it's a requirement to use Huggle, an anti-vandalism tool I have taken interest in using however I need rollback for it. I have a strong understanding on whats vandalism and whats not, (i.e differentiating whether the user edits with bad intention or means no harm.) that to add up with the required 200 edits in mainspace. Feel free to check my contributions, I have also contributed to the encyclopedia. When it comes to the rollback button, I have carefully read the policy page so I know when to use it how to use it, how to hide it (optional), and also well aware of the vandalism policy aswell. I've also created 23 articles here so not only do I revert vandalism, I contribute to the library. I will restate it again the main reason I am asking for this is for Huggle use, but it will also help in reverting obvious cases of vandalism. CyberWarfare (talk) 23:42, 25 August 2015 (UTC)
