Early life and education
Rinsch studied at Brown University and Columbia University, where he earned Honors in the fields of English, Arts and Science.
Career
Rinsch made his directorial debut in 2013 with 47 Ronin, a fantasy adaptation of the Japanese historical epic of the same name, starring Keanu Reeves, Hiroyuki Sanada, and Rinko Kikuchi. Widely panned by critics with an overall loss of around $152 million. It was the 20th biggest box office flop by net loss (1982-2013)
