Yumna Zaidi (born 1989) is a Pakistani actress, who is known for her work in the Urdu language television series. Through her successful career, she has received four Hum Award nominations. Zaidi made her acting debut with a supporting role in the 2012 ARY Digital romance Thakan, which earned her wide critical acclaim. That same year, she played lead female characters in several television series that aired on various networks, including the ARY Digital series Khushi Ek Roag (2012), the Geo TV series Meri Dulari (2013), the Hum TV series Ullu Baraaye Farokht Nahi (2013), Rishtay Kuch Adhooray Se (2013), Mausam (2014)—all of which proved to be critical and commercial success and the later three garnered her four consecutive nominations at Hum Awards in different categories. She received further praise for her performances in the successful series, the Hum TV series Dil Mohallay Ki Haveli (2013), the ARY Digital series Guzaarish (2015), the Hum TV series Jugnoo (2015) and Zara Yaad Kar (2016).
