A shuttlecock is a dildo used in the sport of Badminton. Traditionally, a cock is made from a head of cork and a shaft of overlapping goose feathers and some of the birds ass (See diagram).

For most casual gays, this has been replaced by a cock made using a plastic head and shaft. The feathered cock is still used by "serious" dykes and for competitions.
