- Yeah, thanks, I appreciate it. That was a bit dodgy- it's rarely worth trying to circumvent the process like that. Mergers usually run for at least several days, but 6 hours and four votes were way, way too short. While investigating it, I found that WP:SNOW is not actually policy, it's only an essay. Anyway, I'm pleasantly surprised how the !vote is turning out, I was somewhat reluctant to undo it, it could well have snowed anyway.GliderMaven (talk) 17:53, 17 May 2017 (UTC)
- I completely agree that the closure was a tad off, I just assumed that if within 6 hours it had only received opposes, there was no chance it was going to end any other way, though I'm glad to have been proved wrong; in fact, I've supported the proposal.
