Google edit-warring
Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
Please discuss it on the talk page instead of edit-warring. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Clown town (talk • contribs) 20:43, 10 August 2017 (UTC)

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion
Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Misplaced Pages:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Misplaced Pages's policy on edit warring. Thank you. Clown town (talk) 21:06, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
Since you were warned and know the rules.
Just letting you know that
There's an article in Breitbart "Misplaced Pages’s Left-Wing Editors Attempt to Minimize Evidence Supporting Google Memo" that mentions your user name as well as User:Jytdog and User:Nanite, purportedly written by User:The Devil's Advocate. I'm just letting you know that this has been published, but if there is anything I can do to help, e.g. if you view the article as harassment, please let me know.
Sincerely, Smallbones(smalltalk) 14:30, 15 August 2017 (UTC)

New Page Reviewer Newsletter
Hello NorthBySouthBaranof, thank you for your efforts reviewing new pages!Backlog update:
- The new page backlog is currently at 16,991 pages. We have worked hard to decrease from over 22,000, but more hard work is needed! Please consider reviewing even just a few pages a a day.
Technology update:
- Rentier has created a NPP browser in WMF Labs that allows you to search new unreviewed pages using keywords and categories.
General project update:
- The Wikimedia Foundation Community Tech team is working with the community to implement the autoconfirmed article creation trial. The trial is currently set to start on 7 September 2017, pending final approval of the technical features.
- Please remember to focus on the quality of review: correct tagging of articles and not tagbombing are important. Searching for potential copyright violations is also important, and it can be aided by Earwig's Copyvio Detector, which can be added to your toolbar for ease of use with this user script.
- To keep up with the latest conversation on New Pages Patrol or to ask questions, you can go to Misplaced Pages talk:New pages patrol/Reviewers and add it to your watchlist.
