Uzbeks are a Turkic ethnic group found primarily in Uzbekistan, but also in Afghanistan, Turkey and other countries in that region.

They are one of the 56 Chinese ethnicities.

The Uzbek language is a Turkic language, related to Uighur, Kazakh, and more distantly to Turkish. It is often written in the Cyrillic alphabet.
