Martha Kay Renfroe (June 5, 1938 – August 20, 2016) was an American writer of mystery and science fiction. She published works as M.K. Wren.

Renfroe was born in Amarillo, Texas.

Career

Her work included the Conan Flagg Mystery series, the Phoenix Legacy, a space opera trilogy, and A Gift Upon the Shore (1990).

Later life

Renfroe died on August 20, 2016, in Lincoln City, Oregon. Her long life-long partner was Ruth Dennis Grover.
