@CASSIOPEIA: Why was this submission declined? I understand it can be built upon, it definitely meets WP:Notability, and the reference looks fine to me. Flalf (talk) 02:01, 12 February 2020 (UTC)
- @Flalf: Can you clarify why it is that you believe the article "definitely" meets WP:Notability? So far, the draft lacks evidence of significant coverage in multiple, reliable, independent sources. I'm not saying the sources won't exist, but they have not been brought forward so far. Am I missing something? Cbl62 (talk) 07:22, 12 February 2020 (UTC)
- @Flalf: Good day and thank you for your question. If you look at the WP:GNG guidelines, it states "If a topic has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject, it is presumed to be suitable for a stand-alone article or list." The article provided only single as oppose to significant coverage (multiple sources) - see Tarleton football schedule which is not independent from the subject (it is the subject's web site). Article can be moved to draft space under WP:NPPDRAFT guidelines. To move to draft is not a deletion (the article will remain in draft space for 6 months before it is nominated for deletion), but giving the creator time and space to gather more appropriate sources for submission.
