Ibuki island (伊吹島, Ibukijima) is an island in Kagawa Prefecture, Japan, between the islands of Honshū and Shikoku. The island is approximately 10 kilometres (6.2 miles) away from Kan'onji, and has an area of 5.4 square kilometres (2.1 square miles). It has a population of 503 people. The island is famous for sardine processing and is the largest producer of sardines and anchovies in Japan.
