Jellybeans

You have been awarded these Jelly Beans from -The Doctor- Please, enjoy them.

Here are some Jelly beans for you. I love jelly beans as they have sugar in them and most people love sugar. But on the other hand just receiving somthing from somone else just makes you happy and also just giving this to you makes me happy. I hope to spread the jelly beans all over Misplaced Pages, so here, you can have this lot. Please enjoy them. (I like the lime ones.)

Editors need a bit of a sugar high too.

An apple a day keeps -The Doctor- away. Or does it! 02:20, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Msn steve irwin turtles.JPG)

Thanks for uploading Image:Msn steve irwin turtles.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. No Personal Attacks

Regarding this edit summary Please see Misplaced Pages's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Paul Cyr 16:53, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

How on earth is that an attack???!!? If you actually bothered to read the previous persons edit, they changed the tense of the opening of the article. This change was from something like "Vista was released" to "Vista will be released" on the grounds that in was not yet Jan 30 in the United States. I can't see how that is a personal attack. Quite frankly, it is a prime example of why the rest of the world hates America - because they are ignorant of how the rest of the world works. BTW are you admin, because just looking it doesn't appear so, so you should leave that kind of stuff up to admins.----HamedogTalk| 01:17, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
You called the person ignorant, that is an attack on the person. See the connection? Quite frankly, I don't care what prejudice you have with America. If you continue to make rude or incivil comments you will eventually be blocked. And no I am not an admin, however non-admins are permitted and encouraged to take on admin roles. I suggest you read the actual reference pages before making such assumptions. Paul Cyr 01:46, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
Continue? I made, according to you, one rude comment. And it was an ignorant edit by that person.----HamedogTalk| 03:05, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
Your reply above where you generalize Americans as ignorant is rude and violates WP:CIVIL. I'm not trying to bite your head off or anything, but you should realize your comment was inappropriate and not do it again. Paul Cyr 04:32, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
Please follow the language guidelines of Misplaced Pages and avoid changing the english dialect in page. In this instance you have changed from New Zealand English to American English. Please refrain in future.--HamedogTalk| 07:52, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
WP:Manual of Style#National varieties of English only applies to article pages, not talk pages. Paul Cyr 08:30, 1 February 2007 (UTC)

Misplaced Pages talk:WikiProject Rugby union

I removed your "call to arms" from the above talk page. You are allowed to neutrally notify other editors about a discussion, you are not allowed to actively request them to vote one way or to use partisan language on the case. See WP:CANVASS. Repeated violation can be considered disruptive and lead to blocking. A message "This discussion is relevant to Rugby" on a WikiProject talk page is perfectly fine. ~ trialsanderrors 18:52, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
