Antonella Barba was born on November 26, 1986. She auditioned for American Idol Season 6 with her best friend Amanda Coluccio. They both made it to Hollywood but Amanda was cut for the Top 40. Antonella made it to the top 24 and sang "Don't Wanna Miss A Thing" by Aerosmith. She has no formal training in singing and she also plays the violin and the piano. She auditioned in New York City The first time she sang was in a sixth grade talent show and her favorite artists are Jojo, Christina Aguilera, Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder, Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson, and Justin Timberlake. She was in a group with Baylie Brown and Amanda Coluccio and Baylie was the only one cut from the group for the group auditions.
