He has been capped six times for the France national team. He played at Stade Toulousain from 1975 to 1987 and won twice the «Bouclier de Brennus» (1985 and 1986). He became trainer of Stade Toulousain in 1987 but left after a single year then came back in 1993 and won 7 times the French championship, three times the Heineken Cup and twice the French cup. He is still the trainer of Stade Toulousain.
