References

Please use high quality references per WP:MEDRS such as review articles or major textbooks. Note that review articles are NOT the same as peer reviewed articles. Thanks and welcome to Misplaced Pages.

I don't see where in WP:MEDRS it say that one can't use primary sources. Which source do you think is not a quality source? Would you mind talking at the article talk page before you just delete everything on your own opinion?79.179.224.214 (talk) 16:40, 9 June 2012 (UTC)

Also would be nice if you would add to notify people to search refs, instead of just deleting whatever you don't like.

see http://en.wikipedia.org/Wikipedia:MEDRS bottom of the page for how to do that. 79.179.224.214 (talk) 16:42, 9 June 2012 (UTC)

We do not use primary sources typically and money of the sources you are using do not even mention CT scans. Thus I will remove this text again until these issues are dealt with.--Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 19:44, 9 June 2012 (UTC)

Dear mr jmh649 , I don't know which refs you reffer to because you still prefer to delete entire sections insted of marking then facts needing better refs to your opinion, but please recall that ct use ionizing radiation, and thus effecfs of radiation would apply, whether ct is mentioned or not. Similarly, also note that CT sometime use contrast agent, etc. 79.179.224.214 (talk) 21:28, 9 June 2012 (UTC)

All facts need references. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 23:37, 9 June 2012 (UTC)
Hello ... I also wanted to welcome you to Misplaced Pages, and to let you know I hope you stay here and keep contributing to this very worthy and world-changing project! :-)
With that said - and asking your forgiveness if I am out of line - I wanted to just respectfully suggest that you give Doc James "the benefit of the doubt" in this situation. I am absolutely certain he means to show you ZERO disrespect. No doubt he is personally HAPPY that you are freely giving your valuable time to try to help improve medical articles here, and to contribute to the project in other ways. There is NO QUESTION that the ONLY things Doc James cares about here are: (1) that Misplaced Pages has the highest possible quality articles and references, and (2) that you enjoy yourself as an editor and keep on helping. WORK WITH HIM :-)
I also personally thank you for your assistance, and invite you to let me know if I can help you in any way.
With very best regards:

WOW - my sincere apologies to all, I didn't realize until just now that you had taken this unfortunate misunderstanding to the next level at the Noticeboard. Given the existence of that action, and until I read through the arguments in the matter, let me just respectfully withdraw my previous comments that were favorable to Doc James (while letting my welcome and thanks to you stand as issued) and for now merely encourage everyone to assume good faith, keep cool heads, and focus on productivity instead of punches :-)
After consideration of everything here, I feel that it would not be right for me to comment IN ANY WAY on this issue because (1) Doc James gave me a Barnstar this morning, and (2) for me to now take a position FULLY supporting him on this matter could potentially appear to be sort of a quid pro quo. Good luck to you, my apologies for any misunderstanding.

Edit warring

You will be blocked if you continue to edit war poor quality content into this article. The refs you are using do not support the content in question. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 20:39, 9 June 2012 (UTC)

In my view, you mr jmh649 delete without providing sufficient explanations. Without marking facts requiring refs, and without providing sufficient time for other editors to respond to the (not given) marks. Do you think that your opinion mater more than others, and that you need not explain it to any one because you are always correct? Do you think that it is not possible that any one would know better than you? About your threat to ban, please provide me with more information with regard to such process, so that I would be able to contemplate which one of us would be banned, in case that such a process would occur. Regard.79.179.224.214 (talk) 21:13, 9 June 2012 (UTC)

If content is not properly referenced it can simply be removed. There is no requirement to tag it for a period of time before removing it. And high quality references must always be used for controversial content.--Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 23:39, 9 June 2012 (UTC)
