Many thought that lahore would be a part of India as it was a Sikh-Hindu majority, but when they were informed that lahore will be a part of Pakistan, the Sikhs gave a valiant attack, but were calmed by the Pakistan army.
The line was erected by Sir Cyril Radcliffe.
This line might not be in existence now.
