Jokestress is harassing me

Hello. Since you seem to be familliar with this topic more than any other random moderator I will ask you for some advice. The user Jokestress has taken to writing disparaging remarks on my user talk page. In particular she seems to imply that my interest in the article we have been trying to collaborate on is due to being sexually attracted to the subject.

I know this process has been frustrating for you, but on these kinds of articles, this has to be done. They tend to be worked on by people who have an erotic fixation on the article's subject, which makes it difficult for them to be objective about content. They become more like fan pages than encyclopedia articles. As I said, if you want to set up an offsite worship page about her, like the old miriamssecret.com fan page, you can add anything you want there. I appreciate your questioning every change I made, since that process always leads to carefully sourced Misplaced Pages articles. Jokestress 17:22, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

This is too much. Is there anything you can think of that I should do to remedy this matter. This is not the first time she has behaved like this with those who disagree.--Hfarmer 21:17, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

Category:Chalcidice

Since you've already voted on the talk page of the category before I posted the move request in the appropriate place I'm letting you know that there is a discussion currently going on here. You may want to participate there as well. --Kimon 12:30, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

Lake Stymphalus

Hi I created an article about a lake in Greece called Lake Stymphalus. Would you mind looking at it and cleaning it or editing it? Here's the link to the article: http://en.wikipedia.org/Lake_Stymphalus. Thanks! Neptunekh 18:47, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

Alcibiades Follow-Up

Hey Yannismarou, my apologies for not writing you in so long or responding to your post on my page until now. indeed i am still around but i just never sign into my account, i read wikipedia daily though (:. i really just had the alcibiades article in my mind when i created the account, as i hardly feel qualified to write on any other subjects and do not have a through understanding of how to navigate and use wikipedia. Speaking of the alcibiades article, my hats off to you, and we both know i can no longer take any real credit for the work as you have done a spectacular job and no small task either to get the article to FA status. just re-doing my citations alone must have taken a lot of work. Clearly the article is as close to finished as a wiki article can be and although my tardiness has prevented me from providing any assistance, i wanted to extend an offer to edit/proofread any future english works of yours, if you are still interested, although i must say that your english is really superb and i'm not sure how useful i can be in such a capacity. take care and keep writing, so I can learn more about ancient history!Dmcheatw 02:54, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

Human_rights_of_Kurdish_people_in_Turkey

I will ask you not to revert the deletion of kurdish genocide claims from this article. My justification is that this issue has nothing to do with the article itself. You are welcome, of course, to make a new article called "Kurdish Genocide Claims" and see how fast it will stay up until its speedy deleted :p.Korrybean 19:38, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

Request denied. In the way it is executed, your removal constitutes vandalism.--Yannismarou 19:39, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
I am not arguing the claims are not legitimate. I do believe they are illegitimate, but that is not the issue here. The issue is that genocide claims are irrelevant to human rights.Korrybean 19:40, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
Well, genocide IMO has everything to do with the violation of human rights.--Yannismarou 19:41, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

RfA thanks

Thank you for the vote of support on the RfA. It doesn't look like it's going to pass now but I appreciate the vote of confidence and the kind words. Cla68 20:45, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

Gordon Park

Thanks for your advice. Hopefully, I will find some motivation to go back to that article at some point. J Milburn 11:11, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

WikiProject Greece

Thanks Yanni for your welcome. I see that you have an impressive record of edits, and well deserved awards. I' ve been wiki-contributing for a couple of years occasionally. Perhaps you'd like to check some of my edits like in Tenea or Scheria and comment. If any specific help is needed in WikiProject Greece, just call me.--Odysses () 14:26, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

Dannii Minogue article

Hello. I have recently reworked the article on Australian singer and actress Dannii Minogue. I would like to renominate it for FA status in the future and was wondering if you could take the time to copy edit the article for me. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! -- Underneath-it-All 15:50, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

Various things...

Hi, and καλή ανάσταση... About the maps, I'll have a look, I'm not sure I have a program to import PNGs and edit them. Poems? Currently scarce; life is prosaic. Another thing, we were discussing over at Misplaced Pages talk:Greek Wikipedians' notice board has been rather inactive, maybe we should merge it into the Wikiproject? Yeah, its fine now. How shall I translate Armee d'Epire? Epirean Army I supposeRaymond Palmer 19:58, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

Map No 2. Please check.

It's quite easy to do if you have some basic software. I've been using Jasc: Paint Shop Pro and Windows Paint. How to do it. Select the backround colour to the word that needs translating. eg: if the background to the word is red, select red. Use that colour with a brush to paint over the 'foreign' word or image. Then simply add the new text. The third map will take a little longer because the background to the words is more complicated ie: the background to a single word can be several colours. Not sure if I've explained it well, but you get the idea I hope :). One to go.

Finished : )
If there are any mistakes/oversights please let me know and I'll fix them.

Peer review

Hi there. Regarding the article about Eugenio Espejo, I have followed your advice and made several changes. Check them out when you can, and don't forget to tell me if it still has mistakes. I am also going to request a Biography WikiProject assessment. Thank you for your help, and I hope you have a nice Easter vacation! Dalobuca 20:39, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

Hi Yanni.

Can you please provide a translation (and your opinion) of the following two phrases, indicating that I asked for a free license and the President agreed?

and the reply:
