Do you have a reference to a high quality reliable source that verifies what you want to add? The article, after all, says Some alt-rightists are antisemitic, promoting a conspiracy theory that there is a Jewish plot to bring about white genocide, although other alt-rightists view most Jews as members of the white race.Cullen328 (talk) 00:14, 23 August 2023 (UTC)
Not done for now: I'm closing this request for now because this phrase is part of a much larger issue of this article that needs a lot more work and information to tackle. The reason that the claim has no source is because it's a lead section summary of the section Alt-right#2017–present: Decline, but that section is now outdated, and is tagged as so. Nevertheless, you still need to provide a reliable source that states the movement is not in decline (or alternatively, reopen this request once editors have finished updating the section). Well, it is particularly hard to find sources that are reliable due to how the political climate around such things are well what's the word... charged so couldn't the question really be is what sources could be appropriate to update the article to date while keeping up with Misplaced Pages standards? 65.190.84.189 (talk) 00:54, 16 April 2024 (UTC)
Transphobia (+Isolation) in the Alt-Right
Over many, many years, alt-right members have ruthlessly attacked & boycotted any company that shows ANY form of support for transgender people. Even if the supportive content in question is years old, or even entirely fake, alt-righters will often spread the rhetoric that the company is spreading “gender ideology”, therefore “indoctrinating” their children. Often times, the reasons for these boycotts are completely debunked. This only pushes alt-right members to double down on the false claims, and harass others online on the topic.
Additionally, Alt-Right members often experience isolation in life due to their beliefs. Because they are racist, anti-woman, and anti-lgbt, it’s not uncommon for their beliefs to spill out into their real-life situations. This can cause them to become disconnected from their family, children, job, and the world, leading to depression. Instead of questioning their own ideas, these alt-righters will often (again) double down on their ideas, insisting that their loved ones are in the wrong for being appalled by their speech. This leads the alt-righters into a lifetime of lonely bitterness.
This isolation only confirms alt-right beliefs that they are the ones under attack, and that white straight men are oppressed within society.
Transphobia in the Alt-right NEEDS to be added to this Wiki page. Every day is a new outrage for them. They are constantly on the prowl for the newest trans scare. The online harassment never stops. And I have personally witnessed multiple people become SEVERELY disconnected from their family & kids due to alt-right beliefs. 2601:C6:D37E:1E90:D415:4752:4511:6B0C (talk) 04:03, 17 April 2024 (UTC)
