This page documents an English Misplaced Pages policy.It describes a widely accepted standard that editors should normally follow, though exceptions may apply. Changes made to it should reflect consensus.

Usage

To include up to five shortcuts, pass parameters: {{Policy|WP:V|WP:VER}}

This template links all official policies to Category:Misplaced Pages policies and to one of its subcategories based on the "subcategory" parameter:

• "conduct": Category:Misplaced Pages conduct policies
• "content": Category:Misplaced Pages content policies
• "deletion": Category:Misplaced Pages deletion policies
• "enforcement": Category:Misplaced Pages enforcement policies
• "procedural": Category:Misplaced Pages procedural policies
• "legal": Category:Misplaced Pages legal policies

To include additional text after the boilerplate, insert a "text" parameter.
