Gavin Peterson is an American basketball coach who is the current head coach of the Utah Utes women's basketball team.

Coaching career
On November 22, 2024, Peterson was named as the new head coach of the University of Utah women's basketball team. The change was made four games into the 2024–25 season, after Lynne Roberts was hired as the head coach of the Los Angeles Sparks in the WNBA.
