Press TV (also rendered as PRESS TV) is an English-language Iranian international television news channel, funded by the Iranian government through Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting. In late January 2007, it launched it's website . In late April 2007, it launched test transmissions on many satellites around the world. The planned launch date for the channel is July 2, 2007.

PRESS TV seeks to "counter the West's influence in covering news."

It has a sister channel in Arabic, Al-Alam.
