Lizzie Grubman is a celebrity publicist . She founded her own company in 1996 and her clients have included Britney Spears, the Backstreet Boys and Jay-Z.

In 2002 she served 37 days of a 60 day sentence after pleading guilty to assault and leaving the scene of an accident after driving her SUV into a crowd of people outside a Long Island nightclub, injuring 16 people. The trial garnered wide publicity

In 2005 she featured in an MTV reality TV show entitled 'Power Girls' which focussed on her firm's activities in New York.
