After Sam's latest stunt, Carly and Sam have to tape the auditions for the talent show. But after Freddie adds a goofy clip of the girls, it has strange side effects, including iCarly's creation.

2"iWant More Viewers"September 8, 2007102

When it is discovered that the same number of people watch iCarly every week, Carly decides to have a contest to get more viewers. The teams are her and Sam vs. Freddie and Spencer. The punishment for loser is that they have to touch the doorman Lewbert's wart. But who will win when the stunts go insane? Seattle, the setting of the series, was first mentioned.

3"iDream of Dance"September 16, 2007103

When Mrs. Briggs brings in a Scottish dancer to class, Carly and Sam do a broadcast saying for the audiences to do dance videos. But, big dance dreams occur when the crew falls asleep viewing 500 videos a night. The Dreams:

  • Sam = Mrs. Briggs turns all of the detention kids, including Sam into Scottish dancers.
  • Freddie = Freddie battles one of the boys in a video submitted.
  • Carly = She has a little dance with randomly appearing guys.

4"iLike Jake"September 22, 2007104
Carly's excited to hear Jake, her crush, has agreed to sing a song on the webcast. But it is soon discovered that Jake is a terrible singer, so Carly asks Freddie to digitally enhance Jake's performance, and promises him a date when he says he won't do it.
5"iWanna Stay With Spencer"September 29, 2007105
Carly's grandfather visits her, and because of Spencer's unusual behavior, he wonders if Spencer can take care of Carly. Will she convince her grandfather that Spencer is able to take care of her?
