Notice to vandalizing halfwits, linkspammers, and people who don't read WP:NOT
Before you sit down and construct a series of vandalizations to this page, or whine about the article I put a CSD tag on, or my AfD vote, you should be informed that your world orbits a ball of fire. This ball of deadly heat is paradoxically far enough away that it actually provides some level of benefit to those who spend a measured amount of time in front of it. While you should not in any way stare at it, a respectful glance in its direction will show you that it is warm and in some ways healthy.
Accompanying the ball of fire is a collection of variant photosensitive lifeforms and constantly recycled breathing material, suitable for your use at any time you so please, and containing life-giving elements. As an added bonus, most of these materials are available to you entirely for free and 24 hours a day.
We encourage you to cease vandalizing or whining on this page and get to know the magic ball of fire.
Credit to User:Elaragirl for the above
Disclaimer: The above is intended as a humorous way to emphasize a point. If you are not humorous, feel free to continue to be a halfwit or linkspammer, or both if you prefer. You may also ignore the fiery ball, if you so please, however I warn you that without it, you would never have been permitted to enjoy linkspamming or halfwittedness or ignorance of WP:NOT.

Ralbot 03:40, 18 September 2007 (UTC) Block lengthSo, the guy is obviously jumping from IP to IP. Could you perhaps lower the block lengths to avoid excessive collateral damage for anyone that inherits the IPs? EVula // talk // ☯ // 18:14, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
List of editors by edit countA few things. First, how did you generate the most recent list? I'm curious. If you used a better method than what is listed on the top of Misplaced Pages talk:List of Wikipedians by number of edits, then please update the instructions to correspond to this better method. Next, please read Misplaced Pages talk:List of Wikipedians by number of edits#Mikkalai name removals. The consensus is that editors should be allowed to "unsubscribe" from the list, or at least replace their names with a placeholder; in the future, we will replace the names of editors on this list with a placeholder before uploading a new list, in order to avoid the (seemingly) inevitable edit war. —Disavian (/contribs) 22:08, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
Unicode and bot malfunctionsSince STBotI is persisting in creating image description pages at nonsense titles whenever it encounters a non-ASCII image name, I've modified OrphanBot to notify you whenever it finds one of them. --Carnildo 19:14, 19 September 2007 (UTC) In response to...In response to your message on my talkpage, fair point, however, I only reverted his page twice, what he is doing, is deleting my comments, and when I make a reply, calling them reverts, and threatening me with a block, what is your opinion on this? Meateater 10:36, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
umWhy did the bot remove the welcome? See Thanks! Phgao 19:27, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
MfD nomination of User:ST47/EditCountUser:ST47/EditCount, a page you created, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Misplaced Pages:Miscellany for deletion/User:ST47/EditCount and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:ST47/EditCount during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Melsaran (talk) 14:02, 21 September 2007 (UTC) User:ST47/EditCountPlease unprotect this page; the protection was clearly out-of-process as you fully protected it while no vandalism had occurred yet, and I want to remove my name from the list. Melsaran (talk) 18:27, 21 September 2007 (UTC) Standard userfication requestPer WP:PROD, I am entitled to make a reasonable request for the restoration of any material deleted without due process. I now ask you to restore Evil lair, a universally known concept and a basic shtick of several kinds of fiction, into my userspace with full page history so that I may review the reasons behind the proposal and examine the article for salvageable content, per our policies and guidelines for inclusion. Apologies for sounding like Gandalf in the hands of a bad fanfic writer. I got into watching the Dungeons & Dragons movie. --Kizor 19:33, 21 September 2007 (UTC) Opting out?Ahoy. As you know, a small amount of us admins have been opting out from varying WP namespace statistical lists. (For instance, I have removed myself from WP:LA and WP:WBE). Would you be willing to accept requests to opt out of your administrative statistical reports? By no means am I saying "zomg remove me or else!," I'm just wondering if you were open to opt-out requests... --Jeffrey O. Gustafson - Shazaam! - <*> 07:41, 22 September 2007 (UTC) A user you blockedHi, there. Could you please see Misplaced Pages:Administrators'_noticeboard#Blockage and respond there as soon as you can, the user's personal attack aside (it's irrelevant anyway). Thanks. Good humour
User:MurinessI've been trying to help him for a while. He wants to include his telecom company. It clearly isn't notable, but he has trouble understanding the rules. I feel that he could potentially be a good editor, if he knew what he was doing. Want to try and help him? ⇒ SWATJester 20:50, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
?Thanks for linking me to that, on how many editers talk pages can I leave a similar message?--Moosh88 00:05, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
Well, we could easily apply WP:WIKILAWYERING to the reverts done by User:Ghirlandajo and User:Dbachmann. There actions would fall under the Abiding by the letter of a policy or guideline while violating its spirit. I'm all about neutrality, but lets enforce the rule on all editors.--Moosh88 01:47, 24 September 2007 (UTC) Could you please talk to User:Dbachmann? For the second time he has reverted many of my recent edits, without any justification. The info I have provided is all sourced, and is from major or well known scholars, I don't understand what he finds wrong with them for him to be acting this way. Please look into this, I really think we need a neutral user to step in and look at the facts.--Moosh88 06:38, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

Blocked Tor Exit Node (129.21.60.134)You blocked a Tor node that I recently started, which is perfectly fine and must be the case for Misplaced Pages to survive. However, I also use this machine for tunneling HTTP traffic at times and would like to be able to edit Misplaced Pages myself. I was under the impression that one could edit via Tor (or, a Tor IP) if they were logged in (Editing_with_Tor), but even though I log in, I am unable to edit. Can you enlighten me? --dinomite 16:27, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
MooshHi, ST47. Just curious, why did you delete Moosh88's (or 98, don't remember for sure) message from my talk page? I don't mind, I was just wondering if you know something I don't. Thanks.--TigranTheGreat 22:19, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
