Manju Warrier (born on 1 November 1978) was an Indian actress specialising in Malayalam cinema. Manju was born in Kannur, Kerala.

She got married to fellow actor Dileep on 20 October 1998 at Alwaye Sri Krishna Temple They now have one child, Meenakshi. Her brother, Madhu Warrier, is also an actor.

She is considered to be one of the finest actresses ever appeared on the Malayalam screen. Her performance in Kannezhuthi Pottum Thottu won a special mention from jury for national film awards.Her smart bubbly characters were what endeared her to the Malayalee audience. Her commercially successful movies include Summer in Bethlehem, Aaram Thamburan, Pranaya Varnangal, Krishnagudiyil Oru Pranayakalathu and so on.

Early life

Manju Warrier showed extraordinary talent in dance when she was in school. She was adjudged 'Kalathilakam' in the Kerala Youth Festival for two years. She first acted when she was 15 in the hit Malayalam movie, 'Sallapam'.
