Ben Stiller (born November 30, 1965) is a comedian/actor/director probably best known for his roles in Meet the Parents, and There's Something About Mary. The son of comedians and actors Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara, Stiller was born in New York, New York on November 30, 1965 and raised with frequent visits from his family's Hollywood friends.

Stiller directed both The Cable Guy and Reality Bites, to generally mixed reviews.

He had a long-term relationship with actress Jeanne Tripplehorn. He married actress Christine Taylor in May 2000.

In the parody self-help book they co-authored, Feel This Book, he and frequent co-star Janeane Garofalo claimed they briefly dated. This is generally considered to be "writer's license."

Amy Stiller, Ben's older sister, is also an actor.
