Blocked Again

Annie, less than a month ago I blocked you for posting copyright violations and for your disruption. I explained to you that blocks apply to the person and that you are not allowed to use another account or an IP address to edit Misplaced Pages until this block expires. This is what I wrote to you on September 16 :

Please understand on Misplaced Pages, blocks apply per person. This means that you are not allowed to edit using any account or IP address until the block on your account has expired. If you try to edit with other accounts or anonymously, the block may be extended.

I think that is a very clear message and so I am very disappointed to discover that two days after I blocked you for one week, you created another account and used it to continue editing while this account was still blocked. This is a very serious policy violation and the blocking policy and Sockpuppet policy provide that people who do this can have their block reset and extended.

  • Your other account has been blocked indefinitely for being used to avoid the one week block on this account.
  • The block on this account has been reset and extended for an extra week because of your block evasion.
  • This means that you, the person known as AnnieTigerChucky, not just this account, is blocked two weeks altogether.

Please understand that you are not allowed to edit with this account, another account or an IP address.

If you continue doing these things, you are going to be banned from editing Misplaced Pages at all.

I don't know how to make this clear to you, but it is very important that you do not make any edits for the next two weeks. Then, when the two weeks are up, you can start editing again, but it is very important that you do no post anything that you have copied from another website. Copying from other people is stealing and Misplaced Pages takes stealing other people's work very seriously and does not allow people who continue doing this after being warned to edit here.

For the next two weeks, you can read Misplaced Pages, but you cannot edit it. I would like it if you would use the next two weeks to read the pages that you have been given by other editors which explain Misplaced Pages's rules. But please understand that it is very, very important that you do not make any edits with any account for the next two weeks and if you do, you will be blocked again for a much longer period of time. Block extended

The block on this account has been extended due to your continual block evasion. I have also blocked one of your IPs for the same duration. This behaviour is unacceptable. Editing Misplaced Pages is a privilege, not a right. Sarah 08:33, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
