I live in the West Midlands, England and was born in 1952. Although I studied Natural Sciences and the Electrical Sciences Tripos, I only worked for a year in the Electronics industry before becoming a teacher. After 25 years of teaching in Secondary schools (11-18+), I have spent the last 10 years working on IT-related projects.
My main hobby is Scuba diving and I've been involved in instruction of recreational diving for almost 20 years to date.
Having looked at the Misplaced Pages articles on Scuba and related topics, I felt obliged to create an account to take part in improving the topic to the best of my abilities.

Things to do
- Diving regulator - still needs to distinguish between performance delta with depth and perf delta with cylinder press; ++ a lot more
- Diving cylinder - needs a US version of the breathing time calc
- Nitrogen narcosis - may need to delete "acclimation" & "breathing techniques"
- Scuba diving - proof-read again - there's a problem with organisation of sections
- Find how to include pic without breaking the section in Diving cylinder
- Ear clearing - expand - names of manoeuvres
- Scuba set - Air cylinders
- Diving suits - how they work
- Ear clearing - sources
