Jason Everman (b. 1967) was a guitarist for Nirvana in 1989, and later the bassist for Soundgarden.

Everman joined Nirvana in 1989, and is credited as being the second guitarist on the Nirvana album Bleach, but did not actually play on any of the songs. The credit was admitted by Kurt Cobain to be as a token of thanks for paying for the recording of the album. However, he did play shows from February through July of that year.

As of 2004, both songs from a two-song Nirvana session featuring Everman have been officially released. "Do You Love Me?" (a KISS cover released on a tribute album) and "Dive" (released on Nirvana's With the Lights Out box set) were recorded at The Evergreen State College's 24-track studio in June of 1989.

He left Nirvana after July 1989, and replaced Hiro Yamamoto as the bassist for Soundgarden in 1990. In April of that year, he played on the band's cover of Beatles' "Come Together", which was released as a single. He also appears in Soundgarden's Louder Than Live home video. He quickly left the band in the same year, and has played guitar in Mind Funk and a few other bands.

He is now reportedly in the U.S. military.
