Most of the land and people of Sarsanda are devoted to agriculture. The major communities of Sarsanda are:
- Nath Gotra Sunda, Junjaliya, and Jat
- Gotra bisu, chunia, Inania, Rad, and Danga kala
- Brahmin pareek, Rajput
- Jodha and Nathawat, sen
- marothia
Other communities of Sarsanda are sarsanda Vaishnav, Goswami, Kumhar, Luhar, Jangid, Meghwal, Regar, Kamar, and Harijan.
