Kurt Donald Cobain (1967-1994).

Lead singer of the grunge band Nirvana (together with Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic). He was married to Courtney Love (singer/guitarist with the band Hole), with whom he had a daughter Francis Bean Cobain.

Kurt was born February 20, 1967 in Hoquaim, Washington and spent his early years in Aberdeen, Washinton.

He allegedly commited suicide on April 5, 1994, at age 27, with a shotgun. His tragic death inspired a host of copycat suicides and conspiracy theories regarding his death. Most feel that his death was not fully investigated as it should have been, and this has left many unanswered questions regarding whether this was actually a suicide or a homicide.

Cobain is often credited with almost singlehandedly creating the Grunge Music movement. Yet all he really wanted was for the music to speak for itself. Kurt Cobain was a musical genius who is sadly missed by many.
