Welcome to my little corner of this vast space that is Misplaced Pages! I'm just a regular guy, living in Surrey, BC, don't have much to say about myself. My user page is currently under renovations. If anyone wants to volunteer to help me improve this page or make a helpful suggestion they are most welcome to; leave me a message on my talk page. As for my editing style, I make mostly minor clean-up edits to any articles on any subject. I try to find a way to improve any article I come across and generally do a little bit of everything, from patrolling new pages to fighting vandalism, believing it'll improve the whole. I guess I would classify myself as a WikiGnome, albeit a very obsessive-compulsive one. :) Although I'm kind of leery about Misplaced Pages:Flagged Revisions, I have lots of faith in Misplaced Pages and its policy of "anyone can edit" and have great hope for the future of Misplaced Pages. It may be that one anonymous IP making one minor contribution such as fixing a typo is analagous to contributing to the content of the ocean by spitting in it, but when that one contributor is combined with thousands others doing the same thing... when you look it at as a whole picture, then it makes a big difference in the grand scheme of things. So each little contribution from anonymous IP's are useful and worth it and much appreciated by the Misplaced Pages community.
Communication between editors takes place at Talk pages.
To send a message to another editor:
Go to their user Talk page (e.g. User talk:xxxxx)
Click the "Add topic" button at the top and, when the editing window opens, you can type your message and a subject heading to your post.
At the end of your message, include your signature with ~+~+~+~ (~~~~ four tilde characters).
Note that user talk pages are publicly viewable, so it is not a private message to the user concerned. Even when deleted, the message is forever viewable in their History.
Editor replies: Unless the other user includes a link to your user page in their reply (called a Ping), you will not get a notification that they have responded, so it is a good idea to either check their talk page every now and then, or add it to your Watch list.
