Cite tags

Hi, just wondering since when is adding cite tags to text considered disrupting Misplaced Pages? I actually believe it is removing them that is considered vandalism. I have no issue in having them removed if a reason is actually given, rather than describing their addition as disruptive for no reason. Usually when something is mentioned the first time their is a citation, hence why the fact tags were added. Can you explain their removal?MITH 11:12, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
