The Carnivores games are a series of four first-person shooting video games for the PC. The first three were developed by Action Forms and released by WizardWorks Software between 1998 and 2001. The fourth game, Carnivores Cityscape, was developed by Sunstorm Interactive and released by Infogrames in 2002.


Animals

  • Parasaurolophus: The Parasaurolophus is a plant-eating dinosaur in Carnivores and Carnivores 2. It cannot harm the player and will run away if attacked.
  • Pachycephalosaurus: The Pachycephalosaurus is a plant-eating dinosaur in Carnivores. It can not harm the player and will run away if attacked.
  • Stegosaurus: This large herbivore appears in Carnivores and Carnivores 2. It can not harm the player and will run away if attacked.
  • Ankylosaurus: This armored herbivore appears in Carnivores 2. It can not harm the player and will run away if attacked.
  • Triceratops: This large herbivore appears in Carnivores. It will sometimes attack the player.
  • Chasmosaurus: This large herbivore appears in Carnivores 2. It will sometimes attack the player.
  • Allosaurus: This carnivorous dinosaur appears in Carnivores and Carnivores 2. It will often attack the player.
  • Ceratosaurus: This large carnivore appears in Carnivores 2. It is very agressive and will usually attack the player.
  • Spinosaurus: This large carnivorous dinosaur appears in Carnivores 2. It will sometimes attack the player.
  • Tyrannosaurus rex: This huge carnivorous dinosaur appears in Carnivores and Carnivores 2. It is extremely agressive, and it will always attack if it notices the player. It can only be killed if it is shot in the eye.
  • Brontotherium: This large creature appears in Carnivores Ice Age. It usually runs away if attacked, but sometimes it will attack the player. Misspelled ingame as "Brontoteriy."
  • Wild boar: This animal appears in Carnivores Ice Age. It will sometimes attack the player.
  • Wolf: This animal appears in Carnivores Ice Age. It is agressive and will often attack the player.
  • Woolly rhino: This large herbivore appears in Carnivores Ice Age. It will sometimes attack the player.
  • Megaloceros: This large deer appears in Carnivores Ice Age. It usually runs away if attacked, but it will attack if the player gets too close.
  • Diatryma: This large carnivorous "terror bird" appears in Carnivores Ice Age. It is agressive and will often attack the player.
  • Smilodon: This large prehistoric cat appears in Carnivores Ice Age. It is agressive and will attack the player.
  • Mammoth: This huge elephant-like animal appears in Carnivores Ice Age. It will sometimes attack the player.
  • Bear: This large carnivorous animal appears in Carnivores Ice Age. It will attack the player.
  • Yeti: This is the bonus creature on Carnivores Ice Age. It is very hard to kill, and it will attack the player.
  • Coelophysis: This small dinosaur appears in Carnivores Cityscape. It is weak and very common in the game.
  • Oviraptor: This feathered dinosaur appears in Carnivores Cityscape.
  • Nanotyrannus: This dinosaur appears in Carnivores Cityscape. It is a moderately powerful dinosaur. It is related to Tyrannosaurus.
  • Suchomimus: This powerful dinosaur appears in Carnivores Cityscape. This spinosaur first appears in the aqueduct levels.
  • Giganotosaurus: This huge dinosaur appears in Carnivores Cityscape. It is very strong and can kill the player in 2 hits.
  • Tapejara: This flying creature flies around in many levels in Carnivores Cityscape. It is completely harmless to the player.
  • Tylosaurus: This marine reptile sometimes appears in lakes and aqueducts in Carnivores Cityscape.
