Roblox is a free virtual MMOG playground and workshop designed for people ages 4-124. The game is made up of building bricks of various shapes and sizes. Unlike other games, Roblox has no pre-defined goals, players are allowed to build anything such as houses, churches, cities, swimming pools, and more. Roblox users can program the places they create with a simplified version of Lua 5.1 programming language. Roblox has become part of the privacy program TrustE.
History and development
Roblox is a game first published on Janurary 29th, 2004 by Roblox Corp. of Silicon Valley, California. Roblox's project straddles several rapidly-developing aspects of internet entertainment: virtual worlds, casual gaming, and user-constructed content .
Customization
Places
Players can make up to one place on a normal account. They get to build it on their own. With Builders Club you get ten places. With Turbo Builders Club, you can have up to twenty five.
Avatars
With each account, you get an avatar. You may earn money to buy and create clothing to customize your avatar.
Badges
You earn badges by completing difficult tasks required to get the badge.
The Catalog
The catalog is where players can buy custom clothing for their avatars.
Economy
There are two currencies. Tickets and robux. Players earn ten tickets everyday to buy items.
