MagnaGuards are combat droid bodyguards seen in the Star Wars universe.

MagnaGuards serve General Grievous as bodyguards and soldiers. They are trained to match the style of combat of the person or creature they are fighting against. The magnaguards are warriors revered throughout the galaxy. They have taken many Jedi lives with their electrostaffs as well as the lives of those who oppose Grievous. These elite warriors were not cheap though, in fact they effectively bankrupted the Trade Federation to produce. There are four models of Magnaguard. General Grievous, under the orders of the mysterious Darth Sidious, uses the help from his MagnaGuards to kidnap Chancellor Palpatine just before the end of The Clone Wars, and he uses them as a distraction on Utapau to get away from the planet.

MagnaGuards are seen in the Star Wars: Clone Wars microseries, Star Wars: Republic Commando, Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, and also in Star Wars: Battlefront II.
