The term Assyrians for the Aramaen people of today is wrong!. The Aramaean are the indigenous Syrian Orthodox, Nestorian, Chaldeans and Maronits Christians in Mesopotamia who read and write Aramaic, a Semitic language, which is used in their religious observances.
