Daoguang (Chinese: 道光, Hanyu Pinyin: Daò guāng, Wade-Giles: Tao-kuang) of the Qing Dynasty was emperor of China from 1821 to 1850.
During his reign China experienced major problems with opium. He made many edicts against opium in the 1820's and 1830's.
