He is mostly associated with shows for young people. Initially he presented Free Time on ITV, but reached a much wider audience with Edd the Duck and Wilson (an arm purporting to be as part of a butler) in the "broom cupboard" slot on Children's BBC, which he presented from 1990 to 1993. He then presented Live & Kicking, alongside Emma Forbes, from 1993 to 1996. Andi's film credits include Toy Story 2 where he supplied the voice of a baggage handler.
Andi became executive producer of Top of the Pops in 2003 and resigned from that role in 2005. He also created the highly successful T4 on Channel 4 and currently presents daytime reality show City Hospital on BBC One.
Andi is currently competing in ITV's Dancing on Ice.
